un-b-weave-able

Most people don't know the difference between real and fake hair. This has always been a funny and somewhat embarrassing topic to discuss with family, friends and random people at the grocery store check-out line or any other odd place where the subject comes up. People are especially confused now that Tyra, Oprah and every other black woman on television has decided to "break it down" for the unwitting and unknowing person who assumes ones hair to be their own.

Oh the wide world of weaves. And yes, even Caucasian women are getting into the action... thanks Ken Paves. This weave story is one for the books!

Today Show anchor, Ann Curry, reported on a story of a black woman whose life was spared by her unbeweavably thick track of weave. Yep, her 3-month old weave was sewn into the back of her head and STOPPED a stray bullet!

She knows she needs to thank her girl for not only giving her the thickest weave in history but saving the thick-headed woman's life.
