pretty cool saturday

I love Saturdays. Especially cold and rainy days that are the perfect invite to strolling around downtown and exploring the thrift stores that sprinkle the area. Yesterday was one of those days that made sifting through old odds and ends, crammed shelves and of course treasure-hunting the BEST way to spend the time. Zigzagging through town, I was on a gardening kick, scoring a pot holder, some cool pots themselves and copper accented finds at 4 of the 6 places I went.

When did bargain buying become so amusing? It has become one of my favorite weekend ways to entertain myself and hopefully come away with some cool trinkets. I think I'm becoming a trinket queen!
