have you seen...?

The New York Times is featuring a holiday book that sounds like a great gift. David Thomson has written 20+ books but "Have you seen...?: A personal introduction to 1,000 films" would be a cool read for any lover of cinema.

Thomson says, “The landmarks are here, the problem films, a few guilty pleasures, a few forlorn sacred cows, some surprises.”

This along with a netflix subscription would be an awesome gift.... hint hint.
