escape to a good book

As usual, I was watching The Today Show this morning and James Patterson was on discussing his 14th Novel Cross Country with Al Roker and shared a website that peaked my interest. I wanted to share it for several reasons but I have always been a strong believer in the power of putting good books in children's hands and that's what his website readkiddoread.com is doing. If you have a child in your world, please tell them to become a member on the site, find 120+ page turners that are categorized for easy searching and learn to love a good book! The Brentwood Library was where I spent a lot of my summers and books were my escape as a child.
Some of his picks are below. Happy reading!
