great expectations

7:43 am: Today is the day!!! This was the text my sister sent last week regarding our 11:00 am appointment this morning. We find out if Kalea will be a big sister to a little brother or sister today! So few things in life are truly exciting, surprising and miraculous.  That being said, today is one of those times when all three are true.   I feel so amazingly blessed that our family is growing and although "trying" was a bit easier than we both expected, we are ecstatic that we are expecting again! We have been blessed with our daughter, Kalea, and we will welcome our second little one in October.

12:48 pm: Another baby girl it is!! Everything looked great, she was very busy in the womb making it hard for the ultrasound tech to find all of the necessary parts and take her vital measurements- exactly how Kalea was too. Active with a sweet profile, it got me excited on names, what she will look like when we welcome her this fall and most of all, just giving her the good vibes and positive energy for a healthy and happy gestation in there.

 I was fortunate the first go-round with an easy and happy pregnancy and delivery which is probably why we were eager to expanding our family. Kalea was here on her actual due date, labor wasn't too bad and the delivery took 30 minutes with no residual effects. I can't hardly wait for Kalea to meet her baby sister. Life is such a miracle...and I'm so lucky to have met such an amazing man and father to my children. It's crazy to think how life takes you in directions and how your life is changed. I am blessed...
