waiting for wild things

I think I first saw the trailer for Spike Jonzes' new movie, Where the Wild Things Are on Ellen a few months back. This was one of my favorite books as a child and still holds a top slot for best illustrations in any book --ever. So while flipping through Entertainment Weekly this morning, I found a write-up about how awesome this movie is about to be! Max Records reports that a reported $80-100 million price tag awaits this October 16th adaptation of Wild Things. The classic kids' book will have a different version that the story but that gives all of us the power to be critics, and when all's said and done, isn't that what we all want when we go to the movies?
