harvest festival fun + a fear of heights
A few weekends ago the family took an afternoon trip to the fall festival at the Hunt Club Farm right down the street in Virginia Beach.
Packed with tons of carnival rides for the kids, a pumpkin patch chalked full of our choice of gourds galore, and our chance to spend some time with daddy and MiMi who was in town for both her and Atalia's first birthday, this was a bigger deal than we expected! The rain held off while we waited for the girls to wake from a nap to partake in the harvest fun. What better way to spend the day than getting the girls out to choose their pumpkin this year and stretch our legs amid the orange balls of fun! Atalia especially loved the pumpkin patch while Kalea was all about the teacups with Mimi and her daddy. The ferris wheel was not her cup of tea, however!
It's just so crazy how big they are compared to last year at the pumpkin patch.
