Marceille, France
Before Kalea was born and I moved to Virginia, Nick went on his first deployment with the U.S. Navy. He joined his ship which stopped by the beautiful port of Marceille, the largest city on the Mediterranean coast. I have always been drawn to French culture and his photographs (especially in black and white) are so mesmerizing with the architecture, fountains and what has to be one of the most romantic cities I have ever seen. If only I could have met him in Marceille to enjoy his port call with him. What a nice story that would have made. I actually love our love story and how it all unfolded. Ah, I hear Edith Piaf now...
