This past July was bittersweet. After Kalea's birthday party on the 28th of June (Nick's birthday), I was busy packing up our house, liquidating our borrowed treasures and figuring out what needed to be sold and what would fit in our car for the 3-day trek back to Virginia. All of this so we could reunite with Nick after he returned from his 5-month deployment. That being said, we basked in our family and friends glow for our last few weeks in Missouri which included the 4th of July. I'm not one for fireworks, call me Debbie Downer, but we found fun in sunflowers, sidewalk chalk, music,  "TiTi" and pure sunshine. I wanted to share some highlights from our 4th. Hey, better late than never, I suppose.
