Kansas City was a really cool trip. Only 3 hours away, it felt like I had gone to the depths of a dirty city where anything I wanted to do was possible. We spent our 2 days driving around the Bottoms, as they call it there, where the old city lies and lofts and businesses now reside. The weather was cool, dreary and rainy but it went with the feeling of the bottoms.

The Corner was the spot for breakfast and the old cafe was like going back in time- I love that! The Kings of Leon concert was incredible, just as awesome as their LA show. They are AMAZING live and the lead singer turned 40 that night so he was extra lively!
